A is for Apple

We took a family trip to the Apple Barn in Abbotsford. Thanksgiving weekend. The weather was good. But cold. I had to borrow Cliff's sweatshirt.

The kids in the orchard picking a big 25 pound bag of apples. Some went straight into our stomach. Some went into two apple crisps for Thanksgiving dinner two days later. 

Courtney liked this little pumpkin. She is my little pumpkin.

Back to Life

You see off in the distance, on the mountain. Well that says PENTICTON. We climbed up there.Me not so prepared to hike. I wore my breezy blowy girly skirt, my bright pink flip flops and carried my work camera with me in one hand.  More on this story to come. These are a few off of the camera phone only.

Ah, a jacuzzi room for two. Two evenings of relaxing with either a bottle of wine or champagne. Awesome.

Driving in my Sister's car...(my Dad's old car) with the sunroof open. Sunshine all around us. Beautiful weekend.

Reconnecting with your spouse of 11 years, and six kids later.

It was a great weekend away, and I will blog more about our two night adventure. It was awesome.

Thankful

For the bright sunshine and the blue sky
For the dancing my kids do when they hear the Beach Boys
For all of the I love you's and hugs I receive everyday
For my healthy kids, and scars that will heal
For my legs that allow me to run
For my eyes that allow me to see the beauty all around me
For my husband who supports me, and loves me
For my family who loves me
For my friends who love me
For the 12 passenger van that is on a boat finding the way to Vancouver
For my health

I have so much to be thankful for today!
