Long time, no blog.

First day of school for four out of six. Time to lose the big stoller, and find a single just for Courtney.

The happy birthday poster the kids made for Cliff for his birthday.

A quiet little birthday party for Cliff.

Cupcakes for Carly's birthday. She picked each kind for each guest.

Carly is 7!

Hello again, since I last blogged we have been away on holidays, and celebrated a few birthdays. The kids are back in school. We have one in grade 5, 3,2 and K. So far, so good.

I sliced my finger open on a tuna can, and required a couple of stitches. And, last night we had stuff stolen out of our van. Not only our van, but many vehicles in our area. Last count I heard 13! So sad this is happening in our own backyard. Reminder to all: Keep your vehicles locked, and don't keep your valuables inside!
I still need to download Catie's birthday photos to share! Plus photos from our holidays!

Hard at Work Hubby.

After a light pole had been knocked over, Cliff had to go cap off the wires and mark it with a pylon. He helps keep the city streets safe :D

My hubby Cliff works hard for us. One of the most hard working men I know in my life.  He works a lot so that I can stay at home with the kids. That had been the goal from day one.  We said when we were pregnant with our first, that he would work, and I would raise the kids. We have stayed pretty true to our word. I am pleased that we have both been able to have this for our family. We will continue this way until I am able to do more photography. I see that happening in the next few years, once the youngest hits Kindergarten/Grade One.

I couldn't see it any other way. Either could he.

Anyways,  over the past weekend my husband had been on call at work. So, after a fun day at the berry festival, he got called to work. His second call out of the week. So, on Sunday afternoon I had the opportunity to go watch him work. I took two videos, but I will share the shorter version. The other one I will share with the kids.

Enjoy!

P.S. Cliff, thank you for all of your love and support for these past 11 years. You are the best hubby a girl could ever get. I love you. xo

Take a little trip...

Cliff got to use his Christmas present tonight from my Mom. He says thanks Mom! He had a half an hour intro flight at our local airport.

He loves flying, and so he got to practically fly and land the plane.

I brought Carly and Cameron to watch him. I am happy for him. He deserves good things :D

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day Cliff!

I hope you have enjoyed your special weekend!

Yesterday, I sent Cliff to the spa for a sport pedicure, a back massage and a facial treatment. I took the kids to the parade, so he could get some well deserved down time. This morning Cliff is out golfing with some wonderful family members. I  know he is having fun!

I love you Cliff! Thank you for all that you do for us on a day to day basis. You are a hard working Dad, and we appreciate every moment with you. I know our kids will grow up remembering all of the wonderful things you do. I am happy that they have you.

I hope that this weekend was happy enough for you, as I know this is your first year, first Fathers Day without your Dad. We all miss him! We are sorry that he is not here with us today.

Love Cathy (and your six kids) xo xo xo xo xo xo xo

Fathers Day 2008

Where is Courtney you ask?
She was on the beach blanket with her Nonna and Grandpa!
(No kids were injured, went missing, ran away or got hurt during this time at the beach LOL)

Happy Dad's Day

Number One Daddy!
Today, it is all about YOU my dear Cliff.
Today is a Day made just for you. It is not often that the day is all about you. Mostly you come home from your day job, and job number two kicks in.
You give us ALL one hundred percent of your free time. You don't complain. You just love us all.
You are a hands on Dad.
You love us ALL something fierce.
You give up so much just for us to be happy.
You serve us first, and yourself second.
Today my dear husband, I want to say thank you to you for all that you do. We hope your day is beautiful. We hope you enjoy this day, and it goes down as one of the most precious days ever. No matter what.
We know you would have liked to have gone golfing today with your Dad, or to the Waffle House with my parents. But, today we are taking you to the beach! The kids are so excited and we leave in just a bit. Look at that glorious sunshine today!
Thank you Cliff.
We all love you. We cannot tell you that often enough.
You rock our world! Enough said xo
