I forgot to SPRING FORWARD this morning, and then I missed my running group. This morning was a 29 km run. So, I came home changed all of the clocks. Pouted for a bit. Cried a bit, then I gathered my stuff and headed out of the door. I ran 31 km today. My run took me 3 hours, and 17 minutes. But I did it. All by my lonesome. I know I will be ready for next weeks 32. If I could run today, under crazy circumstances, hills and obstacles. I will be able to run the 42.2 km May 3rd. Without a doubt. This run today made me stronger!

Thanks for the inspiration. Way to pick yourself up and follow your dreams. In cases like that I usually go dig up some chocolate. There's no doubt that you'll do your Marathon.
O.K. now I need to go find my running shoes.
Way to go!
I love your new header!
Thank you both for supporting me! It was a mentally and physically challenging day. With some big time "women issues" going on at the same time. Let me say, it was not good at the end. But I survived. Next weeks 32 should feel 'easy' in comparison.
xo
PS Thanks Sarah!
I love what Fawn said. You're amazing at the running distance you can do.32 k next week??? That's awesome.
p.s. I saw your twitter this am and was sad for you and wanted to call you but wasn't sure if you and hubby would like that.
Oh Michelle, thank you. You are so kind. I am totally good now. I had a meltdown, regrouped and grew stronger again.
I have been contemplating ultra distance (50 km/100 km runs) lately. Who knows!!
Brutal, Cathy. I tried to warn everyone lol
o.k. that's it. I'm putting my kids in school so I can go out for runs.
wow 31kms! did you EVER think this would be the norm for you 2 years ago?
you are so inspiring.
Oh...are you doing massage therapy? or any muscle training? or just jazzercise and running type stuff?
Alyson: Yes, 31 kms. My longest run to date. Nope, I NEVER would have thought I would be here! Thank you.
No massage therapy. Just the rub downs from my hubby. But I am seeking ART about every 4 weeks. So far so good. And just hand weights in Jazz class.
