I'm going to do that today too! I love art. I do hate having to clean it up though. I still have two that insist on painting everything but the paper, including inside their mouths....I will try not to stomp on their creativity but its HARD...lol Duct tape...I'll use duct tape!
WOW! I am impressed! I love my kids and I love their creativity but.... I don't go full force like that. How do you do it Cathy?... have a neat organized home plus have time to do this with your kids? I do one and the other suffers!
Yes, creativity is hard...lol. AND very messy. And this is what our kids would do 24/7 if they could.
This took no extra work. The little babes were in bed, Cameron was in school. Left me with 2 little gals who wanted to paint. I gave them 1 paintbrush each, a glass mug of water (for weight--not easy to knock over) 2 pieces of paper towel. The paper is a roll from IKEA. I tape it onto the table, and they get their paint containers. That is all. I tell them what I expect. IF the paint leaves the table, the art goes bye bye. And they do pretty well!
We did it again today. But the 3 olders, and I sat and nursed Caroline. IT was A LITTLE more crazy today lol...
Claire and Carly have really been enjoying painting, and here is their creation made today!
