Mud Pies...good for the skin...

not so good for the laundry, and the laundry pile. It looks like I will be doing a bit more laundry today. Right now I have 3 big loads to fold on the bed. But, it will get done before I get to bed with Cliff.

My kids were creating mud pies and magical creations out of garden dirt today. I will just say that Catie got to wear some of it, and I had to put her into the tub. Let's just say, she had a mud bath! Caroline received a deluxe facial and hand treatment too.

Hmmm. Next time I should hop in too. I have never had a mud bath come to think of it! Ahh.

Spa treatments right in our own back yard!

Mud Pies! That was our favourite thing to do as kids. We would make a whole bakery of pies. We learned not to get too muddy though because in those days kids only bathed once a week. Can you believe it? Saturday night meant Hockey Night in Canada and bath.

PS I had stew for supper last night. Comfort food. It was yummy.

Once a week bath...that would be so much easier lol! Our kids get soooo dirty. Poor Caroline had a whole handful of dirt in her diaper. And it was put in there by her sisters...her big sisters.

Good for you! Stew! xo

ha ha. I have had to bathe Erin before naps so her sheets would not get dirty. Mud is sooo sticky :)

LOL! I love that story! Deluxe facial...that would be nice right about now.

I much prefer wet and goopy sand to mud myself...
