I am not a rookie mom...but

I like to help my friends out when I can. So, I am adding a blog posting to help them out so that they can get some hits.

Hello all,

As some of you may know, a friend and I are on a mission to get our parenting book published (yes STILL - apparently these things take a lot of time and perseverance). So, the latest advice we received from various publishers is to set up a website about the book to prove to an agent/publisher that there is interest in our subject matter - oh, the power of the Web! So, here is our website http://rookiemomssurvivalguide.wordpress.com and we'd like to ask you all please, please, please, to go and take a look, to give us a hit - the goal is 10,000! We have 4-5 topics for discussion initially on our blog and will be adding two more every couple of weeks.

So, really, our ask of you is if you is twofold;

1) Within the website can you please add a post about your experiences on being a mommy or a funny story about another mommy (and as a good friend of mine always says, 'never let the truth get in the way of a good story'). If you can add us to your favourites and check in periodically, even better.

2) Also, to help us out further, can I ask you to forward the site to your friends, family or anyone who might be interested, to help build our network and achieve our goal. Not only that, if you forward this email to 10 friends you are guaranteed to receive good luck and happiness for many weeks to come. If you somehow forget to forward it, or 'Gasp' delete it! You will undoubtably be plagued by 7 years bad luck, locusts and possibly experience a meteor strike....nobody wants that now do they. We hope that the interest that we receive on our website will prove to Publishers that they would be crazy not to publish our book. Once that happens we will be sure to let you all know where you can pick up a copy!
