Good lil gardeners...how does your garden grow?

Here is the little garden plot that Nonna has purchased in the 'hood. The kids have been helping her plant some items of interest.

Claire and Cameron

Carly, Claire and Cameron in their plot. They have sweet peas, sunflowers, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce and some other goodies that they are so excited to take care of over the summer. Yay for Nonna and her gardening with the kids! So good for them!

What a lovely experience for all of them! Isn't it wonderful that it is so close to home! Can't wait to hear all about the bugs and watering. They are super excited about it. Way to go Nona!!!!

Love the idea and I think it's great for Nonna and the kids to focus on something "other"... What a neat experience and thing to do! I bet you're looking forward to having some of the home-grown veggies for your dinners!

We love our garden. Even though it will be planted a good 3 weeks late this year, I'm sure we'll have fun tending it anyways...
